The “Sabastia Guesthouse” project involved providing digitalization and website development support for a Private Public Partnership commissioned by the local council of Sabastia. My role encompassed a comprehensive digitalization assessment, needs analysis, and the formulation of a strategic roadmap. This included developing a website with rich media content showcasing the local council, the guesthouse’s historical significance, and detailed information on accommodation services. Additionally, the initiative incorporated the design and implementation of a hospitality management solution, integrating a property management system, channel manager for online room distribution, events booking calendar, and a web booking engine seamlessly into the website.
As part of the project, a focus was placed on developing a small brand identity to reflect the historical guesthouse’s and village identity. This involved crafting visual elements and messaging that aligned with the unique charm and cultural heritage of Sabastia, creating a cohesive brand presence both online and offline. Collaborative efforts with the local council and relevant stakeholders ensured that the brand identity resonated with the historical significance of the guesthouse and contributed to an authentic representation of Sabastia’s identity. The holistic approach aimed to enhance the guest experience by immersing them in the rich history and cultural tapestry of the village.
