A little bit about me

With a degree in Computer Engineering, I have accumulated more than a decade of professional ICT experience in various roles encompassing product, project, and operations management.

Following the completion of my MBA in Social Entrepreneurship, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, merging my lifelong passions for IT, tourism, and sustainability.

Since 2016, and over the course of the following 7 years, I co-founded and managed several community-based tourism projects in Palestine. These projects placed a specific emphasis on digitalization, hospitality, and experiences. Motivated by the pursuit of sustainable, independent, and digitally accessible tourism products, I leveraged my extensive cross-industry experience in 2020 to successfully undertake several technical consultancies.

These consultancies aimed to support local and international agencies in implementing sector-wide tourism development initiatives that involved various aspects of tourism digitization projects, including digital infrastructure, digitalization support, digital destination marketing, capacity building, and digital community management.

I played a pivotal role in designing and developing several digital tourism platforms, including Hantourism, EnjoyJenin, Jahzeen, Destination Palestine Media Library, and more. Through these endeavors, I have worked closely with the tourism community and industry stakeholders such as MoTA, HLITOA, ATGU, among others, significantly contributing to making tourism more accessible and digitally integrated in Palestine. In the process, I have developed significant knowledge and experience of the digital tourism value chain that I am always eager to apply in new projects.
