Trovoyo is a platform for team city games played on foot. Groups solve riddles in the streets, walk to real places, and confirm each station on the map, turning a walk through an old city into a shared way of discovering it. Games run in Nazareth (NazareX) and Jerusalem (ALQUDS-2026), with Akko in development. I designed and developed the platform, from the Arabic-first website to the in-browser game player and the event and publishing workflow.

How it plays
Each station starts with a short riddle pointing to a real landmark. Teams can use up to four hints: a photo of the place, possible answers on the map, a hot-and-cold guide that uses the phone’s location, and finally a reveal. Each hint costs points, so the scoring rewards solving with less help, and time breaks ties. At selected stations the game locks the screen for a few minutes as a digital break, so teams look up, talk to shopkeepers, and spend time in the neighbourhood. Photos taken at each station become a shared team album at the end.
Built for groups
A game takes two to three hours and runs entirely in the browser, with no app to install, and several phones can join the same team. The same format works for families, schools, companies, tour groups, and cities or institutions that want a ready-to-run event. Trovoyo runs public rounds with online registration and builds custom games for a city, neighbourhood, organization, or festival. NazareX in Nazareth is run in partnership with Al Hakim Hospitality.
