I led Enjoy Jenin as a rural tourism development and digitalization project with Caritas Jerusalem and Jenin Province local councils. The project was designed to make community-based tourism assets in Jenin, Marj Ben Amer, Al Zababdeh, and surrounding villages more visible, organized, and accessible to visitors.

The work combined tourism asset mapping, destination storytelling, branding, photography, video production, mobile app development, and a multilingual digital platform. Across 13 villages, the team documented 110 tourism assets, including landscapes, cultural heritage sites, crafts, gastronomy, local stories, and community experiences.

My role included leading the project team, coordinating development, asset-mapping, and media-production work, and translating local tourism potential into a visitor-facing destination product. The platform and mobile apps were structured to help independent travelers explore rural Jenin through content, maps, geolocation, practical information, and experience discovery.

The main challenge was working in an area at an early stage of tourism development, where many assets existed but were not yet presented as a coherent visitor offer. The project helped organize tangible and intangible tourism resources into a clearer destination narrative for rural, slow, and community-based tourism.

Enjoy Jenin connects closely with my wider work on community-based tourism platforms, tourism asset mapping and digital repositories, and visitor-facing destination storytelling. It reflects a practical approach to local tourism development: combining field documentation, digital tools, community participation, and destination marketing so local places can become easier to discover and promote.
